Council on African American Elders

Mayor Greg Nickels is seeking candidates to fill seven positions on the Council on African American Elders, a 12-member board that advises city officials on policies, programs and services of benefit to older African Americans. The mayor is seeking candidates who are active in African American community affairs, have skills and experience in health care, fund development and public relations, and who have contacts in African American churches.
