USDA Rural Development named Philip M. Eggman public affairs specialist for the state of Washington. Eggman was media/marketing officer for Commander Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, where he coordinated news coverage for submarines supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Rural Development provides equity and technical assistance to increase homeownership, business development, and community and technology infrastructure.
