Portland State University

Lawrence Wallack, director of Portland State University's School of Community Health, was named dean of the College of Urban and Public Affairs. Wallack, who replaces Nohad A. Toulan, came to PSU in 1999 from the University of California, Berkeley. He was founding director of the Berkeley Media Studies Group and is a founding senior fellow of the Rockridge Institute.
