Northstar Neuroscience

Northstar Neuroscience, a Seattle-based developer of technologies for treating neurological disorders, named John Bowers vice president of marketing and business development. Bowers will lead efforts in strategic market planning, business development and reimbursement. Bowers was a director of global marketing for Guidant's Vascular Intervention Division. Northstar's initial clinical application is stroke, the leading cause of long-term disability in the U.S.
