Port of Portland

The Port of Portland hired Eric Hedaa as marine and business development media relations manager. Hedaa spent seven years with the U. S. Coast Guard. His most recent assignment was with the Coast Guard's National Strike Force Public Information Assist Team in Elizabeth City, N.C.. Hedaa has traveled the country providing crisis communications during oil spills, chemical releases, natural disasters and weapons of mass destruction incidents. He also managed the Coast Guard Public Affairs office in Chicago and was in public affairs in Honolulu.
