The Seattle-based restaurant chain Taco Del Mar is setting up business in San Diego. Former technology executives John and Bertha Boyken, early investors in Taco Del Mar, signed on as San Diego-area master developers under the business name A Better Life Franchise Development. James Schmidt, who was a student in a University of California at San Diego entrepreneur program, brought the taco concept to Seattle where he created the Taco Del Mar brand.
