Longview Fibre

Richard H. "Rick" Wollenberg was elected president, CEO and chairman of the board of Longview Fibre Co. Robert B. Arkell was elected senior vice president of industrial relations and general counsel. Longview Fibre operates a pulp-paper mill and owns 585,000 acres of timberlands under sustainable forestry in the Pacific Northwest. Wollenberg is based at corporate headquarters in Longview. He has worked in manufacturing, marketing and timberlands. Arkell will work in human resources, labor relations, and government and public affairs. Before his 33-year career with Longview Fibre, Arkell was a lawyer for Boeing.
