Sonus Pharmaceuticals appointed Michelle Burris to its board of directors. Burris is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Seattle-based Corixa Corp., which develops products to treat cancer and infectious diseases. Burris held finance and strategic planning positions at The Boeing Co.
