Garvey Schubert Barer

Fred Hutchinson Business Alliance presented a business award to Michael D. Garvey and Stanley H. Barer of the Seattle law firm Garvey Schubert Barer. They founded Saltchuk Resources, a private holding group whose companies donate about 2 percent of annual operating income to support community youth, medical and education programs in 22 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. Other Saltchuk founders honored were Frederick Goldberg, Leonard Shapiro and Everett Trout.
