Gorenberg, who has worked on marketing for wireless telecommunications, will work on raising the company's public profile through a media relations plan. GM Nameplate specializes in custom design and manufacturing of nameplates, decals, labels and custom panels. It employs 800 people and has manufacturing facilities in San Jose, Beaverton, Ore., Monroe, N.C., as well as Canada and Singapore.
