Columbia Bank

Columbia Bank promoted Michael Block to vice president. He will continue as branch manager at the bank's 43rd and Meridian location. Block has 16 years of banking experience. Michelle Welsh, who has 15 years of mortgage lending experience, was promoted to assistant vice president. She will continue as a residential lender covering Tacoma, Fircrest, University Place and Gig Harbor. Columbia has 34 branches in Pierce, King, Cowlitz, Kitsap and Thurston counties.
