Western Washington University

Carol D. Edwards, who was assistant dean of the School of the Arts at Kennesaw State University, was named the new dean of the College of Fine and Performing Arts at Western Washington University. Edwards succeeds Linda Smeins, acting dean since 2002. Smeins, a professor of art, will return to teaching.
