NetIQ Corp., a provider of systems and security management, announced James Barth retired as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Richard (Rick) Van Hoesen takes his place for both positions. Van Hoesen was vice president at privately-held XACCT Technologies and held senior management positions at Sun Microsystems and Teradata. NetIQ is headquartered in San Jose, Calif., with operations in Bellevue, Houston, Portland and Raleigh, N.C.. It also has an office in Galway, Ireland.
