United Way of King County seeks 250 volunteers to help immigrants, refugees and low-income families prepare federal income tax forms. The nonprofit needs people with Spanish, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Somali, Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya, Tagalog and Russian language skills. The free tax-preparation program is open to all taxpayers from January to April 2005. Volunteers are expected to help more than 4,000 individuals and families file. For more information, call (206) 461-3656 or visit unitedwayofkingcounty.org/volunteer/eitc.
