UW School of Medicine

E. Peter Greenberg will be the chair the University of Washington School of Medicine's Department of Microbiology starting in January 2005. Greenberg's work has led to new approaches to tame bacteria such as those that persist in lungs of people with the genetic disease cystic fibrosis.
