City of Seattle

Mayor Greg Nickels has appointed Holly Miller to head the city Office for Education. Miller was executive director for the New School Foundation. She was also head of the Seattle departments of Parks and Recreation, and Construction and Land Use, and led the King County Department of Planning and Community Developmennt. The Office for Education coordinates city and school partnerships, and the recently renewed Families and Education Levy. Sid Sidorowicz managed the office during the interim.
