Jim McDonald will join the staff of the Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs to manage the city's public art program. McDonald managed cultural programs for the city of Kent, curated at the Tacoma Art Museum and has also worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Seattle's Public Art Program integrates artwork into public settings. The city's collection includes more than 3,000 artworks exhibited in buildings and outdoor locations.
