Seattle Public Utilities

The Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies has given an award to Seattle Public Utilities for its management. The association's president David Rager said SPU uses best management practices to provide safe water and low-cost service by using cross-training and technologically advanced information systems. SPU supplies water to more than 1.3 million people in the Seattle metropolitan area.
