Sue Guenter-Schlesinger was named executive director of equal opportunity services for Western Washington University. She was selected from 95 candidates in a national search. She headed the equal opportunity office for the U.S. Army's European headquarters and has been working on affirmative action and diversity at Utah State University. Western is in Bellingham.
