The Downtown Seattle Association recently hired Steven Campbell as safety manager for the Metropolitan Improvement District. The association runs maintenance, safety, marketing and business development programs for 225 square blocks of downtown Seattle. Campbell was a safety and security director for Pacific Place and police chief of Port Hueneme, Calif.
