Belo Corp.

Dallas-based Belo Corp. named David Lougee to oversee television stations and cable news operations in the Northwest. He succeeds Glenn Wright, who plans to retire next year. Belo has news organizations in Seattle, Portland, Spokane and Boise. Lougee joined as an executive news director. He was also president of two stations and NorthWest Cable News. Belo is a media company with television, newspaper, cable and interactive media assets.
