Rainier Industries
Rainier Industries recently acquired EGE System Sun Control. Karl-Erik Westin started EGE Westin AB in Hallsberg, Sweden, and launched EGE System Sun Control in Redmond in 1982. The Redmond company's product line includes retractable window awnings and solar shading screens for interiors and exteriors. Seattle-based Rainier provides fabric and display products and specializes in tents. EGE Westin AB continues to operate in Sweden under the direction of Jan-Erik Westin.
