Port of Tacoma

Dick Dorsett recently joined the port of Tacoma as governmental affairs manager. He manages the port's state legislative agenda and works on transportation and the environment. Dorsett was deputy director for Pierce County government relations, where he did management and policy development. He helped form the Puyallup River Watershed Council, a citizen-based environmental restoration coalition. The port of Tacoma handles more than $26 billion in trade each year.
