Seattle's Hotel Monaco appointed Janene Varden director of sales. Varden will also work on marketing and public relations. She was director of sales at Hotel Monaco's sister property in Seattle, the Alexis Hotel, and sales manager at the Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie.
