Seattle Parks and Recreation

Seattle Parks and Recreation Superintendent Ken Bounds appointed Carol Everson chief financial officer. Everson replaces Sarah Welch, who is retiring after 24 years with the city and five years as the department's CFO. Everson was interim CFO for Seattle City Light and was part of the effort to recover from the West Coast power crisis of 2001. She started as an engineering economist for the City Light.
