Nextel

Kirkland's Nextel Partners, which offers wireless services in mid-sized and rural markets, promoted Jim Ryder to chief operating officer, Cori Tellefson to vice president of people development, and Barry Rowan to executive vice president. Ryder was a vice president of sales and marketing, and will now lead 850 partners around the country. Tellefson replaces Mark Fanning, who will continue to serve the company in a non-executive position as vice president of organizational development. Both have been with the company since it started in 1998. Rowan will remain chief financial officer in addition to his new role as VP
