Seattle-based organization Humanities Washington is changing its president and chief executive officer. Margaret Ann Bollmeier held the post for 10 years, but said she is leaving for Manitowoc, Wisc., to do consulting work for nonprofits. She was with Humanities for 10 years. Bollmeier will be replaced by an interim director. Amanda Swain was an associate director at Humanities Washington and executive director of the Arizona Humanities Council. Humanities Washington works to help improve civic life in Washington.
