Schnitzer Steel Industries

Schnitzer Steel Industries named scrap metals trader Alter Goldstein vice president of export sales. Goldstein has more than 30 years of experience working for trading firms, including Philipp Brothers, Amalgamet and Clarendon, and he will focus on the Asian export trading business for Schnitzer's metals recycling operations. The Portland-based company makes finished steel products, recycles ferrous metals and sells used auto parts.
