Washington State Potato Commission

Chris Voigt was recently named executive director of the Washington State Potato Commission, and will direct environmental and regulatory affairs when he moves to Moses Lake. Voigt directed the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee for three years. The Washington State Potato Commission has an annual budget of more than $3 million to promote the state's potato crop on behalf of about 300 growers. Voigt succeeds Pat Boss, who resigned in May to work as a private consultant.
