Everett Area Chamber of Commerce

The Everett Area Chamber of Commerce named Eric Christensen, Snohomish County PUD assistant general counsel, as Employee of the Year for his work in the PUD's legal battle with Enron. The chamber said he helped uncover tapes and documents that proved Enron defrauded consumers. Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash) won a Service to Business award for helping boost the local economy and for her role in the PUD's legal battle with Enron.
