Rural Development Institute

The Rural Development Institute, an international organization based in Seattle, has been shortlisted for the $1 million 2007 Alcan Prize for Sustainability by Alcan and the International Business Leaders Forum. The prize recognizes outstanding contributions to the goal of economic, environmental and social sustainability by nonprofit and civil organizations. All shortlisted organizations will receive an Alcan Training Grant for $15,000. There are 10 shortlisted organizations chosen internationally.
