The Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development chose eight people to serve on the Washington State Main Street Program. They are Terry Galvin of the city of Blaine, Paul Whelan of the Historic Downtown Coupeville Association, Timothy Bishop of Ellensburg Downtown Association, Deb Heintz of Historic Downtown Prosser Association, John Trueman of Tacoma's Old Town Neighborhood Business District, Jon Campbell of the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation, Allison Williams of the city of Wenatchee and Jennifer Meisner of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation. The committee helps communities strengthen the economy, appearance and image of their downtowns or neighborhood business districts.
