Municipal League

The Municipal League of King County named seven people and one organization as winners of its 49th annual civic awards for their contributions to the community. Lisa Macfarlane is Citizen of the Year. Connie Marshall is Public Official of the Year. Dwight Dively is Public Employee of the Year and the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle is Organization of the Year. David Postman won the Governmental News Reporting of the Year award, and John Stanton and Norm Rice won the James R. Ellis Regional Leadership award. Sandra Driscoll won the Mary Skelton Memorial Volunteer award.
