King County

King County selected Robin Friedman as director of the Office of Emergency Management. He will lead emergency management, planning and preparedness for the county, and was director of security and emergency management for Seattle Public Utilities. Jeff Bowers, acting director of OEM, will assist Friedman in the transition and resume his position as assistant director for the office.
