Seattle Savings Bank

Ellen M. Sas has joined Seattle Savings Bank as president and chief executive officer. Sas was formerly president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board at Northstar Financial Corp., a bank holding company headquartered in Seattle before it was sold to Frontier Bank in 2006. In 2005 she was named one of the “25 Most Powerful Women in Banking” by U.S. Banker magazine. Sas has been a consultant to the public accounting firm of Knight, Vale & Gregory.
