Washington State University

Washington State University has reopened the renovated Compton Union Building, and added three new restaurants, all of which are owned and operated by the family of alum Greg Markel, a former WSU faculty member and owner of Washington Securities and Investment Corp. The restaurants are The Sea Swiper, a cafe specializing in seafood; the Markel Coffee House; and Dupus Boomers, an upscale restaurant.
