ZymoGenetics

ZymoGenetics promoted Douglas Williams, the company's president, to the position of CEO, effective Jan. 2, 2009. At that time, Bruce Carter will retire from the position and will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors in a non-executive capacity. Williams has 20 years experience in biotechnology and has previously worked at Immunex and Seattle Genetics.
