Biotechnology & Biomedical Association
Chris Rivera has been named president of the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association, succeeding retiring president Jack Faris. Rivera will begin his duties Jan. 1, 2009. He has 20 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and was recently founder and CEO of Hyperion Therapeutics. Faris joined the WBBA in February 2005.
