Ramgen Power Systems

U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee announced that $20 million dollars of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be awarded to Bellevue-based Ramgen Power Systems for the expanded development of a carbon dioxide compression project, also known as carbon capture and storage technology. The CCS technology being developed at Ramgen shows promise for containing and controlling carbon emissions from facilities like power plants, who now are a leading contributor to the United States' carbon output.
