Monica Martinez Simmons has joined the Seattle City Clerk's office from Henderson, Nev., where she served 19 years in the City Attorney's Office and 12 years as the city clerk. The Office of the City Clerk preserves public access to the city's official and historical records, and promotes compliance with records retention law.
