Washington Women Lawyers
Pierce County Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Martin will receive the 2010 Washington Women Lawyers Passing the Torch Award, which honors mentoring. The award will be presented to Martin at the organization's annual state banquet on Oct. 8 in Spokane. She spent 27 years with Tacoma's Gordon Thomas Honeywell.
