Seattle Arts & Cultural Affairs

Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn appointed a search committee to recommend candidates to direct the Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs following the resignation of Michael Killoren in early October. Killoren left Seattle to serve as the director of Local Arts Agencies and Challenge America Fast Track for the National Endowment for the Arts. James Keblas, director of the Office of Film + Music and a former Seattle Arts Commissioner, will serve as interim director until a permanent replacement is confirmed. Keblas will remain in his position with the Office of Film + Music.
