In the past year, a group of five lawyers established Advocates Law Group. They call it the first truly virtual law firm in Washington. It has no central office, and most members practice from their home offices, with support staff provided by contract workers. Founding attorneys are Rebeccah Graham, Theresa Pruett, Dieter Struzyna, George Tamblyn and Todd Wilson. Tamblyn said this reduces overhead 90 percent compared with traditional law offices. The firm plans to expand to about 20 employees with a range of legal services.
