Washington State Bar Association

The Washington State Bar Association announced Seattle attorney Joanna Plichta Boisen is the 2011 recipient of the WSBA Young Lawyers Division Pro Bono Award. Boisen created a formal pro bono program at Foster Pepper as a summer clerk in 2005 and has served as the firm's pro bono counsel for the past six years. She is also chair of the Pro Bono Counsels and Coordinators in Seattle, a position she has held for the past five years.
