EVERETT (AP) — Kimberly-Clark says talks to sell its Everett mill have failed over environmental issues and the corporation will begin significantly scaling down operations in the next two weeks, winding down jobs for 750 employees.
Spokesman Bob Brand said Thursday that pulp and tissue production will be over by the end of March and the waterfront site will eventually be sold for redevelopment.
