UW Tacoma

The University of Washington Tacoma is trying to create more partnerships with students and community members. Lisa Hoffman, an associate professor of urban studies at UW Tacoma, will help develop partnerships between the community and campus. She is special assistant to the chancellor for community engagement. She will look for ways to use the community as a classroom.
