Washington State Bar Association

The Washington State Bar Association presented retired Solicitor General Maureen Hart with the 2013 Angelo Petruss Award for Lawyers in Public Service. Judge Sharon Armstrong and Judge Laura Inveen won Outstanding Judge awards. Seattle attorney Phillip H. Ginsberg received the Professionalism Award and QLaw Foundation's GLBT Legal Clinic received the Pro Bono Award, along with Seattle attorney Brian Buckley. Spokane attorney Jacob Brennan was named Outstanding Young Lawyer. Seattle attorney Karen Murray won the Public Service Award and Chelan County Superior Court Judge T.W. “Chip” Small won the Norm Maleng Leadership Award. Spokane attorney Carl Maxey posthumously won the Courageous Award. Seattle attorney Donald L. Madsen won the Lifetime Service Award.
