Aecom Technology Corp. announced four local practice leaders will be joining its Seattle office.

These key hires include Dr. YuJung Chang, vice president and director of water treatment technology; Scott B. Blunt, vice president and district manager of its Mountain Northwest District, environment; Gary Maynard, Mountain Northwest planning and natural resources leader; and Mark Landrigan, senior program manager.

YuJung Chang, Ph.D. has 28 years of experience in water quality and wastewater treatment facilities. Chang is an expert in membrane technology and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Membrane Technology Association. He received a Ph.D. in civil engineering and a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Washington.

Scott B. Blount has 30 years of experience in technical, operations, managerial and executive positions. Blount earned his bachelor's degree from Trinity University and master's degree in Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists and the Society of American Military Engineers.

Gary Maynard has 28 years of planning, environmental compliance and permitting experience. Maynard received his BA in Geography from the University of Washington, is a certified planner and a member of the American Planning Association.

Mark Landrigan has 30 years of experience in development and implementation in several treatment technologies. Landrigan earned a Master of Science Degree at Northeastern University and has a US patent for solvent extraction of metals via chelation.
