Dorsey & Whitney said Joe Gaffney, a partner in the Tax and Estate Planning Group, received the 2014 Pro Bono Award from King County Bar Association. Forty years ago, he and two other attorneys started Neighborhood Legal Clinic to offer free, limited legal advice. NLC now has 35 clinics across King County. Gaffney is involved in other civic and community activities. Guanxi Zheng has rejoined the firm as of counsel in the Seattle Corporate Group. Zheng was an associate and partner in the Hong Kong office from 2000 to 2006, and became director, vice president and general counsel at DAC Financial Management in Hong Kong and Beijing. He is a native of Fujian Province, China.
