Washington State University Creamery

John Haugen will manage the Washington State University Creamery effective Aug. 1. He has been assistant manager since 1999. He replaces Russ Salvadalena, manager since July 2000, who is retiring in January. Haugen will oversee Ferdinand's Ice Cream Shoppe, cheese and ice cream production and direct marketing. The creamery will break ground this summer on a $4 million facility for training, research and deliveries from the WSU dairy farm.
